Artist in Residence:
Paige Smith (A Common Name)

In the fall of 2013 we invited artist Paige Smith (A Common Name) to bring her Urban Geodes to Philadelphia. Geodes went up all around Philly, we had our first big scavenger hunt, Conrad Benner (@streetsdept) took some amazing photos, Paige Smith (@acommonname) taught high school students to make their own geodes at CHAD, and then held a free class at Paradigm Gallery (@paradigmgs) for anyone interested in joining. Not bad for a first official collaboration! We have an amazing team of people working on these projects, and very importantly, some of the most dedicated artists from around the world visiting for a common goal of spreading the joy of art, both within and outside of gallery walls.
